Did you feel overwhelmed during Orientation? It’s okay! It is a lot of information and the Alpha Gamma Pi Alumni are here to help you. Phi Theta Kappa 101 is where you learn all about the society and what it has to offer you as a member. Not only that, but you get to know your fellow members by joining in on some scholarly fellowship!

Society History & Structure
In Society History & Structure you learn about the basics of Phi Theta Kappa, including:  Society History, Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters Staff, International Officers, Divisions, Regions, Districts, and Chapters

For Members
In the For Members section of the workshop you learn about the Society Hallmarks, Society Symbols, The Greek Alphabet and Phi Theta Kappa, How to Wear Your Key Pin, Medals, and Graduation Regalia, Online Resources, and Chapter Scholarships.

For Chapter Officers
In the For Chapter Officers section of the workshop you learn about Officer Positions and Duties, What to Expect: From Running for Office to Induction Ceremonies, Working with Others: Perceptions, Feelings, and Awareness, How to Successfully Run a Chapter Committee and the Importance of Committee Reports, Preparing Workshops, District Meetings, and Online Resources.

The Texas Region
In The Texas Region section you learn more about the opportunities available in Texas, including: Officer Positions and Duties, What to Expect: From Regional Convention to Regional Convention, and Texas Region Conferences and Conventions.

Society Programs
During the Society Programs section you will learn all about the great programs that Phi Theta Kappa has to offer its members. These programs include: Five Star Competitive Edge, Five Star Development for Chapters, Honors in Action, College Project, CollegeFish.org, Honors Institute, C4, International Convention, and Nota Bene.
